The Lady Comets defeated #2 ranked Sunnyside Christian by a score of 7-6 in 8 innings today in the state quarterfinal. We are proud of you! They will play #6 ranked Colton in the semifinal at 9:00 am tomorrow in Yakima. The Comet baseball team will host Sunnyside Christian at 12:00 pm tomorrow in Naselle. Go COMETS!!!

This is a reminder that our high school baseball team will host a quarterfinal, state playoff game against Sunnyside Christian at 12:00 pm tomorrow--Saturday, May 23. This is a change from the original 1:00 pm first pitch. Come out at 12:00 pm tomorrow to support the Comet baseball team in their quest to advance to next week's final four. Some pictures of our Spring Concert and the Grand Finale for our retiring K-12 Music Teacher/Band Director. Mrs. Nelson comes from a long line of talented musicians that spans several generations. She has extended her family legacy and love of music through her daughters, granddaughters, and countless students and community members. Mrs. Nelson is a talented multi-instrument musician, vocalist, and piano teacher and a proud member of the North Coast Symphonic Band. Our school appreciates her many years of dedicated service and wishes her the best in retirement. The night ended with a final bow, flowers from her adoring fans, and a well deserved standing ovation. Thank you, Mrs. Nelson!

🚨 Commercial Fishing Safety Training Opportunity 🚨
Students ages 16–18 can attend FREE commercial fishing safety training from May 27–29, 8:30 AM–4:30 PM at the DeBriae Meeting Room in Cathlamet and Elochoman Marine.
This hands-on training will cover important safety skills, including:
• Man overboard recovery
• Cold water survival
• Fire and flooding response
• Emergency drills, including in-water scenarios
• CPR, First Aid, and AED
• Patient care and injury response
Commercial fishermen, captains, and crew members may also attend for $75.
Lunch will be provided.
