🎉 BIG NEWS for Naselle-Grays River Valley Elementary! 🎉

We are proud to share that Naselle-Grays River Valley Elementary has been recognized for outstanding student growth among students with disabilities from the 2023–24 school year to the 2024–25 school year.

Even more exciting — this growth placed our elementary school in the TOP 10% of schools in these important areas:

🌟 Math Proficiency Rate
🌟 Attendance

This is the kind of progress that matters. It reflects students working hard, staff staying committed, families partnering with us, and a school community that believes every student can grow and succeed.

Way to go, NGRV Elementary! We are proud of our students, proud of our staff, and excited to keep building on this momentum.

💙 Relationships. Hope. Growth. Excellence.

🍎 Teacher Appreciation Week

This week, we are proud to recognize and thank the outstanding teachers of Naselle-Grays River Valley School District.

Our teachers do so much more than deliver lessons. They build relationships, create hope, support growth, and push students toward excellence every day. In a small district like ours, teachers know our students by name, understand their strengths and challenges, and make a lasting difference both inside and outside the classroom.

We are grateful for the care, commitment, creativity, and heart our teachers bring to our schools and community.

To our NGRVSD teachers: thank you for the incredible work you do for our students, families, and district. You are appreciated this week and every week.

Hello, NGRSVD families!

As we near the end of the school year, we're excited to finally have enough staff to offer an after-school REACH Program Learning Lab for 6th-12th grade students who may need or desire extra help in Math, English, and general homework. Leaning Lab will take place every Thursday afternoon from 3:00-5:00pm, with opportunities for homework checks Monday-Thursday mornings from 7:15-8:15. If interested, please download and fill out the Enrollment Form at the link below and email it to kelsi.nelson@naselleschool.org, or print out and return to the school office.

Please bear with us as we continue working out transportation details. For now, continue pick-up at the school after programming is our only option. Completion of the enrollment form is a requirement for participation in the after school program and the upcoming summer program. Students must also have participated in the after school program before the end of the school year to be eligible to participate in the summer program. If you have any questions, please contact Kelsi Nelson.

Let's finish this school year strong!

In 5th grade “Sources of Strength,” students put together Generosity projects to do generous acts on campus and in the community. Several students are helping clean in classrooms, and one group offered to invest time playing with kindergarteners. We love seeing students lean into their strengths and use them to build up our school!

🎉 Thank You, Naselle Community! 🎉

Our first Birth to 5 & Kindergarten Round Up was a success! We were excited to welcome 11 young learners (ages 2–5) and their families for screenings and early learning support.

Thank you to everyone who attended and helped make this event a great experience for our students and families—we appreciate your partnership!

If you weren’t able to attend and have a child who will be starting kindergarten, enrollment is now open.

📞 Call the district office at 360-484-4171 to get started.

We look forward to welcoming our newest Comets soon! 🚀
