We would like to introduce you to our new middle school math and high school Spanish teacher. Victoria (Corona) Konigsberger graduated from Naselle-Grays River Valley High School in 2013 before earning a Bachelor’s Degree at Washington State University in Pullman. After completing her bachelor’s degree, Miss Vicki served as a student interventionist, family resource coordinator, and long term sub in the Naselle-GRV School District. During this time, she also completed a Master’s Degree in Education from Western Governors' University. Last year, she served as the 4th grade teacher at Pacific Ridge Elementary in Seaside. Next year, she will teach 6th, 7th, and 8th grade math, Spanish I and II, and 6th grade STEM/AVID. Miss Vicki enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling, attending concerts and Mariners’ games, and coaching Naselle-GRV cheerleaders. She is passionate about creating an engaging classroom where every student feels safe, supported, and encouraged. She was inspired to become a teacher by some of her former teachers who made learning fun and meaningful for her, and she hopes to create the same positive learning experience for her own students. Miss Vicki makes her home in Naselle with her husband, Matt, and their daughter, Zariah. They are eagerly awaiting the arrival of a baby boy in September. She is excited to be back in Naselle to teach…even more so following her maternity leave. We are very excited to welcome Miss Vicki back to our school!

Greetings, Naselle-Grays River Valley students, parents, and guardians. We are eagerly preparing for the 2026-27 school year, and the start of school on Thursday, August 27. We hope that you are having a great summer.
Please read the letter and the flier about high school registration (grades 9-12), athletic registration (grades 6-12), new student registration, and the updating of enrollment information for students in all grades. Budget Planning Update: Looking Ahead to the 2026–2027 School Year
The Naselle-Grays River Valley School District is currently developing the 2026–2027 budget using projected student enrollment, which directly affects state funding.
The district finished the 2025–2026 school year with 301 FTE students and is budgeting for 260 FTE students next year, a projected decline of 41 FTE.
Key factors include:
31 graduates from the Class of 2026
8 kindergarten students currently enrolled, with additional enrollments hoped for
34 students expressing interest in Running Start, resulting in a projected loss of approximately 17 FTE
This enrollment decline will reduce the funding available for district programs, staffing, and services. Our goal remains to make thoughtful, responsible decisions that support student success.
Please join us for the Board Budget Meeting on Tuesday, July 21, at 5:00 p.m. in the district library.

We’re opening the vault for another look back at the people, traditions, and unforgettable moments that make Naselle–Grays River Valley Schools so special!
Recognize someone? Remember the story behind this photo? Drop a name, memory, or fun fact in the comments and don’t forget to tag a fellow Comet who needs to see this!
Let’s see who can help us piece together this moment in Comet history!
