This web site provides links to the Travel and Tourism Bureaus of all 50 states.  Students simply click on the state within the United States map and they are re-directed to the tourism site.  Along the bottom will be a red banner – this is because the ad/connected site has been filtered by our system.

This is another site designed with an interactive map.  A student clicks on the state of his/her choice, and receives a profile containing facts including the capital, history, median age, cities, and even parks/forests.  The page also has links that students can click on for more details concerning information such as famous people.

This is a great site to find little known or interesting facts about the states.  It provides a list of states and students may choose the state they wish to learn about.  Students may also find maps, lists of symbols and emblems, and famous people.  It also shows what many of the state quarter looks like.

When students click on the state’s name (in orange), they are directed to a page that shows the state highlighted on a map and a picture of the state flag.  The page also provides basic facts including the name of the governor, major industries of the state, and points of interest.  It also contains additional links kids can go to for more information about the state.

This is a very student-friendly site.  It contains a map with natural features, major cities, and bordering states.  It also provides pictures of the state flag and state symbols, as well as black-line masters of the state map.  Basic facts about the state are included and some facts are “hyperlinked” for more information.

This web site contains basic information for the United States and students can click on the name of the state of their choice to go to a separate page.  The state page has pictures of the map, flag, state symbols and the state seal.  It also has links to points of interest and trivia facts.  Historical sites and famous people from each state are also linked to these pages.
