Tourism Bureaus of all 50 states.
Students simply click on the state within the United States map and they
are re-directed to the tourism site.
Along the bottom will be a red banner – this is because the ad/connected

This is another site designed with an
interactive map. A student clicks on the
state of his/her choice, and receives a profile containing facts including the
capital, history, median age, cities, and even parks/forests. The page also has links that students can
click on for more details concerning information such as famous people.

This is a great site to find little known or
interesting facts about the states. It
provides a list of states and students may choose the state they wish to learn
about. Students may also find maps,
lists of symbols and emblems, and famous people. It also shows what many of the state quarter
looks like.

When students click on the state’s name (in
orange), they are directed to a page that shows the state highlighted on a map and
a picture of the state flag. The page
also provides basic facts including the name of the governor, major industries
